#3-4: Blogging

Have been avoiding blogging for quite a while now. All seems very public, time-consuming and maybe even egocentric. However, I do read blogs sometimes, on various topics of interest or research, and find them useful. I know online communities hate "lurkers," so I suppose this is my shot at seeing how it all works and maybe becoming a compulsive blogger myself.
